Naouri Group Moving to its new headquarter located in Um Uthaina

 



Amman/Jordan: Mr. Ibrahim Naouri; Chairman of Naouri Group of Companies; announced the relocation of Naouri Group to its new headquarters located in Um Uthaina- Ali Ben Abi Waqas Street – Building no. 30 as a continuous step towards expanding and excelling in its high class services.

   

Naouri Group will relocate to its new headquarter starting from 16 th of August. Some of the groups’ companies, will continue their operation in the old headquarters located in Gardens – Wasfi Al Tal Street.  "This move symbolizes the beginning of a new chapter in Naouri Group’s 15-year history of providing constant high quality customer oriented services in the field of Shipping, Forwarding, Transport and Travel & Tourism." The Chairman I. Naouri Said.

 Due to Um Uthaina’s strategic location and being one of the most developed areas in Amman; the relocation to the new headquarter ,the relocation to the new headquarter will facilitate an easier access to customers which will enforce Naouri’s high value services and sustain a long lasting relationship with its customers.


Naouri Group Iftar celebrating Ramadan Month

Naouri Group Chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Naouri, organized a Ramadan Iftar for all his group members on Wednesday the 2nd of September, 2009 celebrating Ramadan and the relocation of Naouri Group to the new headquarter as a continuous step towards expanding and excelling in its high class services in the field of Travel & Transport since 1994.

The event was attended by Mr. Ibrahim Naouri and his family along with all the companies' Executive Managers and staff who counted around 170, where Mr. Ibrahim thanked all of the attendees for their hard efforts during last year and wished them the best and success in the upcoming years.  

Joyous atmosphere filled the event which was held in the Brazilian Steak House Restaurant “Copacabana” where various entertaining activities were held as well as quiz competitions organized by the Group’s social family followed by a draw on several prizes presented by Naouri Group management.

Naouri Group to participate in “ Clean the World “ campaign

As part of its social responsibility activities, and being a member of the United Nations' Global Compact, Naouri Group has participated in "Clean Up The World" program, which is held in conjunction with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), which aims to clean up, fix up and conserve the environment.

 

 


Mr. Ibrahim Naouri as Vice President of JEA

Naouri Group Chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Naouri, has been elected as the Vice President of the Jordan Exporters Association (JEA). JEA was established in 1989 to develop the Jordanian export markets by finding new export opportunities for its members worldwide. The associations gathers over 85% of Jordanian exporters as its members.

Green Meadows Travel & Tourism prearranged Flydubai seminar in Jordan, the two days seminar was held in Landmark Hotel on Sunday, Monday 26th & 27th of April, 2009.

 The seminar was leaded by Flydubai business developer manager, Mr. Jeyhun Efendi from United Arab Emirates, Dubai,  in a purpose to share with all attendees associated topics concerning the new Low cost Airline, Flydubai, whose first flight will take off on 2nd of June,2009.

 The seminar was a success as it covered many essential subjects such as Cancellation, refunds, visas, luggage and much more. The hall was full of attendants, mostly from travel agencies in Jordan who have participated through questions and answers


Green Meadows for Travel and Tourism was appointed as wholesalers for Flydubai-Jordan

Green Meadows for Travel and Tourism was appointed on April 1st ,2009 as official distributors for Flydubai in Jordan.

Flydubai, is a simple yet powerful call to action, which operates flights between Dubai and cities in the Middle East and offers less complexity and competitive prices with the best fares and is differentiated through its well experienced and motivated staff.

 Flydubai is currently on schedule to take off with the launch of its first routes mid-2009 and will start with flights to the Lebanese capital, Beirut on June 1, 2009 and to Jordan’s capital, Amman on June 2, 2009 and later will expand to cover all cities in the Middle East. 

The new airline will be based at Dubai Airport where it will operate from Terminal Two with its central location on the north side of Dubai International Airport.


Mr. Ibrahim Naouri is assigned as a President of Skall Club-Amman & a Vice President of  Golden Helmsmen Of Tourism


Mr. Ibrahim Naouri, the chairman of Naouri Group, who manages a leading group in Jordan and the Levant Region specializing in Transport and Travel industries for more than 15 years, has achieved another step towards success through his new position as a Vice President of  the International Association “ Golden Helmsmen Of Tourism” in which was founded in 1986 and aims to support and promote friendship through international communication between members and tourism press as well as making one owns activities and availability known thereby serving as a link between the members and their operating activities. 

Beside being a vice president, Mr. Ibrahim Naouri is now assigned as the President of Skall Club-Amman, an international professional organization of tourism leaders around the world and was first established in 1932 in Paris, promoting global tourism and friendship and is the only international group uniting all branches of the travel and tourism industry.


Naouri Group Joins the UN Global Compact

Naouri Group of companies announced that it has recently joined the UN Global Compact (GC), an international initiative that brings companies together with UN agencies, labor and civil society to support universal environmental and social principle.  

Naouri Group Chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Naouri, expressed his interest to Mr. Pan Ki Mon, UN Secretary General in joining the GC and commented  “ this initiative is considered to be as one of the steps towards  our dedication and commitment  for supporting the workers rights, and protecting the environment,  ensuring our agents and clients locally and internationally of our oath to always be in the lead  ”

Now Naouri Group is listed among the GC list of companies for being committed to aligning its operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption.

As the world's largest, global corporate citizenship initiative, the Global Compact is first and foremost concerned with exhibiting and building the social legitimacy of business and markets. The Global Compact operational phase was launched at UN headquarters in New York on 26 July 2000. Naouri: Presentation on Jordan Shipping industry at the 7th German Foreign Trade Congress

The 7th German Foreign Trade Congress 2007, was held in Bremen on the 13 November 2007, organized by the German Federal Ministry of Industry and Technology, German Foreign Trade Association, Association of German Industries, Association of German Chambers of Industry and Trade and the Senate Council of Bremen City.

His Majesty, King Abdullah attended as one of the guests of honor and the first political guest at level of leaders hosted in the forum, accompanied with a Jordanian economic delegation and representatives of producers, production sectors, and some industrial companies.

 Jordanian Logistics Association's President, Mr. Ibrahim Naouri, made a presentation about the Shipping and Freight Forwarding Sector in Jordan and  highlights on the future of the Logistics Industry, emphasizing the geographical strategic location of Jordan in the heart of the Arab world. He elaborated on the developments of the logistics sector during the last couple of years and its aspired goals and future plans for Aqaba port and Queen Alia International Airport. He also highlighted the great investment opportunities in various sectors especially in water, energy, railway and infrastructure sectors.

 His Majesty called for finding new mechanisms for partnership between public and private sectors and for helping in developing the great capabilities at the aim of increasing the volume of trade and investment between the Middle East and Europe, affirming the importance of the private sector in achieving development and progress.

The forum is considered an important event for the German companies that are involved with the foreign trade and it is a platform for politicians, economists and international figures.


Al-Muna Security Company wins tender for Al-Hussein Bin Talal University University in Ma'an

Al-Muna Security Company was recently awarded a one year contract to provide security services to Al-Hussein Bin Talal University in Ma'an; the contract involves providing over 85 experienced guards at different points throughout the University and Ma'an City.

It is worth mentioning that Al-Muna Security is considered among the leading guard security companies in Jordan, and is specialized in providing professional security solutions to their clients, under the supervision of highly trained and experienced staff from the Jordanian Special Operations, Royal Guards and Public Security Directorate.

Al Muna security Co.  was established in 2005, and is currently performing a wide range of Guard and Electronic Security services to its clients.


NAOURI first President elected for the Jordanian Logistics Association

JLA held it’s first General Assembly meeting on October 28th,2007 at 10 am, which was attended by Mr. Jehad Jadallah, representative of the Ministry of Labor and lead by Mr. Ibrahim Naouri, JLA chairman of Establishing Committee, taking place at the associations premises and attended by 29 of the associations establishing members.

The first session began with Mr. Naouri speech discussing the establishing committee pre-set agenda and followed by the General Assembly elections for the associations Board Members, which resulted in voting for 9 members Messers: Ibrahim Naouri, Nabil Al Khatib, Rami Al Naber, Faraj Basil, Bassam Al Jazi, Marwan Ghaith, Bassam Zaben, Nezar Saleh and Ahmad Shahrouri.

Once the General Assembly voting was over, the elected Board Members held their first meeting and assigned the positions as the following: Association’s President, Mr. Ibrahim Naouri, Vice- President, Mr. Nabil Al Khatib, Secretariat, Mr. Bassam Al Zaben, Treasurer Mr. Marwan Ghaith the rest of the board members will be as ordinary members. Also the legally authorized members’ names were nominated and assigned with their liabilities. The discussions covered the membership fees and approved by the board and a plan was set for the upcoming phase.

JLA has its own premises in Shmeisani that will be run by its Board Members, secretariat and dedicated staff.
