Freight Forwarding
In 1996, the Group added freight forwarding to its range of services. Since its early days, our freight forwarding division enjoyed strong growth with the support of a strong network of agents worldwide and an aggressive business development approach. In recent years, our freight forwarding division has ranked among the largest three in Jordan in terms of market share.
We have been able to sustain our growth levels through a special focus on quality. In 1999, our freight forwarding division received the ISO 9001 : 2000 certification, and in 2005, we became the first freight forwarder in Jordan to get qualified for Jordan Customs Golden List Program, equivalent to the C-TPAT, which was developed in cooperation with the USAID-Funded AMIR program, aiming to evaluate the due diligence of Jordanian supply chain companies with customs requirements and international security standards.
Naouri Group has also had a strong impact on developing the freight forwarding and logistics industries in Jordan; in 2007, we initiated the idea of establishing a national logistics association, became a member of the founding committee, and received the first chairmanship.
It is worth mentioning that we are one of the five founding members of the Cargo Agents Settlement System (CASS) in Jordan in cooperation with IATA. Moreover, we are also the only accredited agent of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
